Dalmore distillery lies on the banks of the Cromarty Firth overlooking the Black Island, with the name “vast grasslands. The distillery was established in 1839 by entrepreneur Alexander Matheson. Whiskey is stored here in Sherry casks, giving the malt whiskey a faint scent of flowers in the mountains of the Central Highlands with a characteristic sweet flavor. In 1891, the distillery was sold to the Mackenzie brothers, who had a great influence on the development of this distillery. The Mackenzie family designed the deer horn as the family’s emblem and decorated it on every Dalmore bottle, and the logo has become a recognized worldwide brand.

Only 60 bottles of Dalmore 50 years have been released, each bottled at a concentration of 52.0% ABV, volume 700ml. Dalmore 1926 (50 years) is a rare and oldest whiskey of Dalmore. Only people who are really passionate about whisky can own it.
The rare whisky was distilled in May 1926 before it was left to mature for 50 years and then bottled on 17 February 1978. It is known to be one of the best 50 year old whiskeys ever created, and has come to be desired by many admirers around the world.
It was accompanied by an old European-style crystal bottle and a beautiful wooden box, accompanied by a certificate signed by master distillery Richard Paterson of Dalmore on March 17, 1999.
