Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts was named after the last grandchild of William Grant – Founder of Glen Grant. This rare whiskey was created to celebrates 110th birthday of Janet Sheed Roberts. She has a great influence on the development and success of the Glenfiddich company in building the malt whiskey market which is outside of Scotland.
Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts was named of the last grandson who William Grant – A founder of Glen Grant. This rare whisky bottle was produced to celebrate the last 110th birthday anniversary of Janet Sheed Roberts. She had a great influence on the company development and Glenfiddich’s success that established the market for malt whisky in the world.
Mr.Brian Kinsman of Glenfiddich Malt chose a Scotch whiskey that is distilled in 1955 to produce Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts -half of Mrs. Janet’s age. There were only fifty bottles on the world, of which four were kept by the family and eleven bottles of the single malt were left – one for each decade of Mrs Roberts’ life.
Glenfiddich Malt ‘s Mr.Brian Kinsman who chose a barrel of Scotch whisky that is distilled in 1955 (half of Janet’s age) to produce Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts and there are only 15 bottles in the world. Among of them, 4 bottles were remained by Robert’s family and in the other 11 bottles which symbolized for one decade of Janet life.
Over the years, Glenfiddich has been selling at charity auctions to fund charities around the world. The bottle No.1 was auctioned off in Edinburgh for the Wateraid international charity. The bottle No.9 was sold in New York and moved to SHFT organization – a charity improves the health of the individual, communities and the environment. The last bottle No.11 would be auctioned off in Los Angeles.
In the past years, Glenfiddich has sold these bottles at auctions that made funds for charities around the world. The first bottle was auctioned in Edinburgh which amount money from its donated for Waterraid charity. The ninth bottle was sold in New York, then donated to SHIFT – a charity that improves the health of individuals, communities and the environment. The last bottle would be auctioned in Los Angeles.
Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts 55 years old has a gentle, aristocratic look with pale yellow as autumn rye, light fragrance of orange blossom and violets, be combined with toasted almonds and modicum of smoke. It tastes of creamy vanilla and smoke of oak. If you add 1-2 drops of water to a glass of whisky, you would discover the zesty orange flavor and surprisingly lightweight.
Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts 55 years old has a beauty of gentle and aristocratically just like the pale yellow of autumn rye, that have soft aroma of orange flowers and delicate violet flowers. It is combined the taste between grilled almonds and a bit of smoke flavor. It tastes vanilla cream flavor and oak smoke. If you add 1-2 drops of water into the glass of whiskey, you will feel the zesty orange flavor with amazing soft flavor. The final taste is long, lively and sweet .
Glenfiddich bottle Janet Sheed Roberts is hand-crafted by Brodie Nairn artist of Glasstorm and the cork was carved the letters of Janet Roberts. There is a blue Cloisonné badge put on the bottle neck with a gold-plated signature. ( Tram)

Be inspired by Janet’s favorite travel suitcase, Alison Watt OBE designed the wine case made of leather and lined with silk with a keychain made from the Scottish deer horn.
