LOCH LOMOND 1967 (50 YEARS)
19th November 1967, Loch Lomond (50-year-old) was distilled in an antique pot which made of copper at the Loch Lomond Distillery in Alexandria, Dunbartonshire. After the distillery has just started working. Then it contained in American oak barrels, before it was changed Europe aok cask, in 1998. And it is bottled at 46.2% abv in December 2017. Loch Lomond only produced 60 bottles in the worldwide.
Growing up in half of the century, so Loch Lomond has a very deep and various flavors. The whiskey has the aromatic of oak mixed with cloves, combined with the sweetness of the dried fruit. In the palate is the explosion of tropical fruit salad, pineapple, banana, and a little honey. Finally,that is the mixture of ginger, sunflower and tear pomade, before the end of fume.
Loch Lomond (50-year-old ) is contained in the bottle of crystal which is handcrafted blown glass by Glencairn. The box has named “Tempest Chest” which used to exhibition this bottle, that was extremely crafted by Method Studio Architects in Scotland. The box is made of indigo-colored wood. Its surface is the wave-shaped sculpture, that makes us think about the waves on Loch Lomond Lake. Inside the box was lined luxury leather and that is protected by a sturdy copper lock. Moreover, Loch Lomond has contained into the glass jar wrapped in a case made of copper that contained sample whiskey. This allows you to have a test taste drink for Loch Lomond (50-year-old) and keeping the bottle like new
