It’s a rare 57-year-old whiskey which had selected from six of the most extremely barrels that made of two different oak wood, It was taken from the Macallan Distillery. A barrel made of American oak wood, which was brewed in 1950, and the other, which were taken from the Spanish oak wood barrels from 1949, 1951, 1952- they are the specialty oak wood that used to brew whiskey of Macallan. The 57-year-old is defined by the whiskey barrel had smallest age is 1952. The Macallan 57-year-old was bottled at 48.5% concentration, which is first produced in 2009, having only 400 bottles were sold in the worldwide.
This rare single malt whiskey is the result of the wonderful blend, it has the cherry wood color and various aroma of dried fruit, black cherries, sandalwood, and peat smoke. The sweetness of dried fruit combined with the little salt of wood and peat. The final extended taste is soft and long.
Based on the Art Deco style, Lalique designed The Macallan 57 years old as the premium perfume, it highlighted by a transparent “satinee” cork which extremely sharp cuts like crystalline are going down to show up to most refined essence of The Macallan.
This is the third cooperation between The Macallan and Lalique. The legends of these two producer made The Six Pillars Collection more and more rare.
