BALVENIE 1963 was distilled on 28 May 1963 in European oak barrels and was bottled on March 21, 2014 at a concentration of 45.9%. It only limited to 128 bottles worldwide.

The whisky 50 years has the rich golden hue, flavor of malt and oak combine lusciously with vanilla toffee, brown sugar, blossom honey and a delicate spiciness. Balvenie 1963 was handfilled at The Balvenie distillery into hand-blown glass bottles and are presented in the very special wooden cases. Handmade by Scottish craftsman Sam Chinnery, the cases consist of forty-nine layers of wood and a closing layer in brass, which echoes the fittings of the distillery’s stills and spirit safes.
