A bottle of Johnnie Walker 1805, The Celebration Blend, a special edition created to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of John Walker in 2005. This is a blend of whiskies aged from 45 to 75 years and is bottled at cask strength. It was at the forefront of an era when there were very few cases available and selection of quality cases was still primitive.
The limited production version of 200 bottles is released worldwide. Each bottle is bottled at a concentration of 46.3% ABV, with a volume of 750ml.
The presentation of this bottle is exceptional, the bottle is nestled inside a lockable victorian style writing case alongside a replica antique nib pen and a recreation of John Walker’s son Alexander Walker II’s handwritten book of blending recipes. The writing along the etched onto the bottle reads from the oldest remaining document in their archives: “The inventory of the estate and effects of John Walker, November 1819”

Johnnie Walker Blue Label is created using a selection of rare casks from the Speyside and Highland distilleries – including delicate Cardhu and Clynelish, warm, rounded Benrinnes, as well as Islay malts for our signature smokiness.
