CLYNELISH 41 YEARS 1973
The Clynelish Distillery was founded by Marquis Stafford on the premises of Clynelish Farm in 1819. All the ingredients used to produce whiskey are locally sourced. Coal is brought from a local mine, barley from nearby fields and water from a river on the farm. This is how a quality alcoholic beverage was created, which Alfred Bernard * always called the highest price of any Scotch whiskey in 1886.
The development of the Clynelish distillery in the 20th century forced its owners to expand their production facilities. A new building was built in 1967 across the road from Clynelish Farm. However, the legal requirements mandate wine tanks in different production rooms to bear different names. For this reason, the name of the old facility was changed to Brora in honor of the town where the distillery was located, while the new facility retained the name Clynelish.
In 2015 Diageo bottled Wealth Solutions customers a special beverage, Clynelish 41 Year Old. This is the oldest single malt whiskey bottled in Clynelish to date.
Clynelish 41 YO is a unique beverage. All bottles from this version come from a case of 16802, bottled by Diageo, owner of Clynelish. This is a special thing in the history of this distillery that helps contribute to the unique nature of alcohol.
Its rarity and originality are not only dependent on the above, but this is also the most pioneering thing that Clynelish 41 Year Old can be proud of with the same products.
