BOWMORE 1965 OLOROSO SHERRY CASK 52 YEARS

In 1963, many years after World War II, Stanley Morrison acquired the Bowmore distillery that had been decommissioned for a long time due to the war. Despite rebuilding one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, he retains the traditional method of making whiskey and the original malt. Thanks to that, we can still enjoy the Bowmore bottles with a unique flavor that has become almost distinct.
According to David Turner, Bowmore distillery manager, “This is the third edition of Bowmore and certainly one of the most remarkable whiskeys that we have produced during our time here.” He further emphasized: “The Bowmore 1965 as a reward for the meticulous distillation comes from our dedicated and talented distillation team. I am extremely passionate about whiskey and have absolutely no doubt that the newest face in our Vaults series will have a legendary status among whiskey collectors and enthusiasts.”

Bowmore 1965 52 years as a masterpiece of art, historic mark and meticulous and skillful production works with extremely scarce quantity, only 232 bottles worldwide. This peak of Bowmore continued to be warmly received when appearing in an exhibition in Singapore in February.

Spent more than 52 years of life in Oloroso Sherry barrels, each bottle is packed with a strength of 42% ABV with a volume of 700ml, guests with a “drunken heart” will not be able to resist the sweet taste of fruit, Sweet beeswax and dark chocolate mingle with the aromas of jasmine, dried fruit, and apricot. The viscous, greasy juice is extremely hard to find, the shimmering amber liquid is seen as a rich reward for those who value the importance of time.
