JACQUES HARDY 1812 GRAND CHAMPAGNE COGNAC
A bottle of 1812 Exceptionnellement Vieux Grande Champagne Cognac from the personal collection of Jacques Hardy. The liquid was distilled in 1812 and bottled in 1902, after 90 years of maturity in wooden barrels under the right conditions. Then, these high age versions were rebottled in 2002 and came in the 75cl hand-blown bottles sealed with wax and were presented in a wooden case.
The 1802 vintage is said to simply offer “great fineness,” highlighting pre-phylloxera Folle Blanche and Colombard grapes. In addition to the unquestionably excellent quality, the Jacuqes Hardy Cognac 1812 bottles also become precious because of their extremely rare quantity. Limited to only 16 bottles released and has lasted for nearly 120 years, it can be said that the remaining existence of any 1812 cognac will become a legacy, a rare, worth collecting and hard to find version for all connoisseurs.
