Hennessy Extra Nostalgie de Bagnolet Cognac
Hennessy has a long history and their products are also top cognac favorites worldwide.
Hennessy was founded in 1765 by Irishman Richard Hennessy, Captain in the French Army. In 1971 Hennessy merched with Moët et Chandon forming Moët-Hennessy. After their 1987 merger with Louis Vuton the newly formed company LVMH became one of the largest conglomerates in luxury products. One year later, in 1988, Bernard Arnault purchased a share of LVMH and eventually became the new owner of Hennessy, still world’s largest producer of Cognac.
The Extra Nostalgie is a tribute to the castle on the banks of the Charente river, Chateau de Bagnolet, former residence of the Hennessy family and estimated was bottled in the 1990s. This is a commemorative version of a high value and deserves a presence in the luxury cognac collection of collectors.
