COGNAC 1804 DAVID SANDEMAN & SON
David Sandeman & Son was established in Glasgow in the early 19th century. David was the brother of George G Sandeman, and had previously founded the world famous Sandeman Port distribution company with him in 1790. He left after just 8 years however, setting up his own company around 1805, and later founding the Scottish Commercial Bank in 1810. When David died in 1835, his son continued to run the wine and spirit merchant firm, bottling a number sought after old vintage cognac.
Cognac 1804 from the same brand is one of the masterpieces they have created, the amber drops have distilled each of the most quintessential elements of the region, providing a passionate aroma of fruits. with a hint of warm oak. With an age of more than a hundred years, this is not simply a rare and hard-to-find edition, but also a Cognac collector’s dream.
