Bowmore is a Scotch whiskey distillery located on the southeastern shore of Loch Indaal, on the Islay island, founded in 1779. Bowmore offers a harmonious whiskey, using moderate peat smoke and they brewed in European oak casks (sherry-casks). Bowmore malt is peat-free but without medicinal notes, with toffee, floral, and flaxseed notes. It is one of the few remaining Scottish distilleries that use their own malt, with about 40% self-sufficient. The 42-year-old Bowmore Eclipse 1965 is known as a masterpiece of art, historic mark and skillful, meticulous production with an extremely limited number of only 36 bottles worldwide, each bottle is packed with a strength of 43,6% ABV in 700ml.
