It is a flawless blend created from two sister American oak casks, numbered 6986 and 6992, meticulously selected by renowned bottler Duncan Taylor team to craft this colossal masterpiece.
The “giant” Intrepid was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world’s largest whisky bottle on September 9, 2021. Merely three years later, on December 14, 2024, this masterpiece once again received recognition from Guinness World Records, this time as the most valuable whisky bottle in the world, owned by a Vietnamese collector.
Holding two world records has amplified The Intrepid’s reputation across international media, capturing the interest of numerous collectors worldwide who wish to own it. However, The Intrepid is truly one of a kind, with no possibility of a second bottle like it ever being produced. Creating such a massive bottle is undoubtedly a challenging feat.
