COGNAC 1810 CAVES DE L’HOTEL DE PARIS
Hôtel de Paris is an extremely popular hotel under the management of the royal lineage of Monaco. Hôtel de Paris sits adjacent to the Monte Carlo Casino, comprised of the decidedly more modern Monte Carlo Bay, Beach Club and the iconic Hôtel de Paris.
The cellar is meticulously organized using the same original system set in place when it was completed in 1874. At that time it was the most extensive hotel cellar in the world. Accessing these wines as a customer does not come easy.
The hotel`s rare wine & spirits collection was famously hidden during the second world war. Behind seven layers of less critical inventory, which were constructed as a false wall to protect the hotel’s silverware, 20,000 expensive bottles stored as a treasure and the Cognac Hôtel de Paris 1810 is one of them. This more than two hundred years old version is on the list of the world’s oldest Cognac bottles, always strongly sought by collectors. Wine is distilled and matured in dark cellars, under the right conditions, and then bottled at the right intensity to produce this super product.
