1882 Park & Tilford SCOTCH WHISKY
Originally founded in 1840, Park & Tilford had a long history of being a family-owned operation run by the Schulte’s. For decades, the company produced a broad line of whiskey and related products until it formally incorporated in 1923 in order to list on the NYSE.
Since Park & Tilford owned a drug store in New York and went public during prohibition; the company diversified into cosmetics, perfumes and other drug sundries
This whiskey distilled since 1882 deserves its place on the list of the oldest whiskey bottles of all time. This pre-World War II appearance is an affirmation of its rarity and special to the World whiskey village. It can be said that this is the version that should be in any whiskey collection, but the reality is not so easy.
