Glen Grant Devotion, the long-standing single malt whisky bottle produced by the distillery, is introduced as a sculpture masterpiece that only releases seven single bottles. This special type of whisky is distilled through coal-burning boilers, chopped bars and water-cooled filters to get the best vapour. It was then poured into a French oak container and brewed perfectly for years at the distillery’s warehouse – Warehouse No. 4. Distilled on September 1, 1953, after seven decades of waiting until 2023, the Glen Grant distillery has produced the respectable limited edition that every distiller wants to own for himself. At the age of 70, The Glen Grant Devotion celebrates the rare achievement of perfect maturity and records the life of a subtle character, Queen Elizabeth II.
The Glen Grant Devotion is with the distinctive dark-coloured grain color and the yellow marigold in combination with the flavour of flowers, the intense wheat sugar, the ripe peach, the sweetness of honey. In the mouth is the taste of dried fruit, dried grapes, dry spices with a bit of oak flavor.
Glen Grant’s dedication has been realized through the vision of Master Distiller Dennis Malcolm OBE and the staff from the distillery, the craftsman John Galvin and Glassstorm’s Master of Glass Brodie Nairn.All seven unique wine bottles are presented as a work of art, with seven bottles commemorating each decade of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. Each bottle has a silver cover, depicting flowers that are meaningful as memories of your inspiring life. The wine bottle is like a perfectly balanced gem in an outstanding wooden sculpture made by hand from a distillery’s garden tree with complex fabric designs and a variety of nature-inspired shapes. The silver diameter of the sculpture is engraved with a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite flower, the Flower of the Valley and the Scotland milk.
