801.8 CHIVAS ROYAL SALUTE 1953 (21 YEARS)
Royal Salute 1953 (21 years) was the first green bottle, that was produced and honored with the royal emblem “Royal Coat of Arms”. This ceramic bottle was made by Royal Doulton. The company was founded in 1815 in London.
️The special green bottle was selected by Chivas Brother, was based on the color of the precious stones on Queen Elizabeth II’s crown. In it, the green symbolizes Emerald.
️The other design of Royal Salute were available in blue, green and red. Corresponding to the color of gems are Sapphire, Emerald and Ruby. Chivas Brother selected carefully these colors to pay tribute to Elizabeth II’s crowning and her crown at the coronation ceremony was fitted three gemstones.
