DALMORE CANDELA 50 YEAR OLD.
Dalmore, under the management of Richard Patterson, presents itself as a luxury brand. There’s no doubt about that, the most sought-after and remarkable Highland Single Malt on the market.
- Soul drink from the mid 19th century.
Candela is the international unit for the measurement of the intensity of light. It defines brilliance. So it seemed appropriate to name one of our brightest creations after this international standard. – Dalmore Candela 50 year old.
Selected by Richard Patterson from the oldest maturing stocks of any single Highland Malt whisky with spirit dating from 1868, 1878, 1909, 1922, 1939 and 1951, the Candela is set to become one of the most sought after expressions the world has ever seen.
- The version carries a strong, seductive fragrance.
Provocative and alluring, with the initial aroma of sultanas, ground coffee, chocolate praline and spicy orange. Next comes apple, honeyed marzipan, sweet molasses and morello cherries before whispers of caraway and Madeira cake complete the experience.
- Limited production.
This 50 year version has become one of the most expensive “souls” ever created and sought by many collectors. Considered as one of the legendary versions of Dalmore, only 77 bottles of Dalmore Candela were released globally, each bottled at a concentration of 45% ABV, volume 700ml and handcrafted with a unique design.
