DALMORE CONSTELLATION 1991 CASK 01
- Limited edition version.
One of two classic 1991 releases, this 20-year-old version was distilled on March 22, 1991 in barrel 01. And for its life, the 1991 Dalmore spent the first 11 years of maturity in a bourbon barrel, six years in a Brandy de Jerez cask and the last three years in another bourbon. A unique maturation process has created a rich, luxurious drink with a glittering golden color that is as rare as its soul.
Only 233 bottles of Dalmore Constellation 1981 were released globally in 2012, each bottle is bottled at a natural concentration of 57,9% ABV, with a volume of 700ml. Crafted in a hand-blown crystal, created by artisans of Baccarat, famous French crystal house. Each bottle is engraved with the year of distillation, age, number of barrels and decorated with a silver royal deer, a symbol of the Dalmore Distillery from 1867. Each bottle is unique as it were a part of The Dalmore history.
- A rich flavorful whiskey.
The 1991 Dalmore Constellation is a whiskey rich in flavor and aroma. In simple words, it is not enough to describe the complexity of the aroma of this wine. Dressed in sparkling gold with sweet fruit aromas: peaches, apples, berries and pear, then make room for cinnamon, macaroons, nutmeg and Cuban cigars. Following whispers of hazelnuts, Morello cherries, pineapple and Parma ham. Flavors of Brandy grapefruit, fried banana, mashed almonds and Gazpacho Andaluz, with layers of fresh sultana, caramel fudge, fig cake and mash. Ending the chain of flavors is the wine that lingers on each of the wonderful senses and is indescribably long.
