DALMORE CONSTELLATION 1991 CASK 27
- Limited edition version.
One of two classic 1991 releases, this 20-year-old version was distilled on April 16, 1991 in barrel 27. And for its life, the 1991 Dalmore spent the first 17 years of maturity in an American white oak barrel and the last 3 years in a cask of sherry Amoroso Oloroso. A unique maturation process has created a rich, luxurious drink with a glittering golden color that is as rare as its soul.
Only 761 bottles of Dalmore Constellation 1991 were released globally in 2012, each bottle is bottled at a natural concentration of 56,6% ABV, with a volume of 700ml. Crafted in a hand-blown crystal, created by artisans of Baccarat, famous French crystal house. Each bottle is engraved with the year of distillation, age, number of barrels and decorated with a silver royal deer, a symbol of the Dalmore Distillery from 1867. Each bottle is unique as it were a part of The Dalmore history.
- Rich taste.
1991 Dalmore Constellation wears sparkling yellow with rich aromas: roasted hazelnuts, rich Colombian coffee and fresh dates with whispered Cuban cigars, followed by a wave of hot wine, damson, and chocolate. black, sweet raisins and black toffee. Following Muscovado’s whisper, Demerara sugar, mashed almonds and ripe pineapple, with a dash of coconut, maple syrup, mandarin and licorice. Ending the chain of flavors is the whisky that lingers on each of the wonderful senses and is indescribably long.
