DALMORE CONSTELLATION 1992
- Limited edition version
The youngest in the legendary 21-bottle Dalmore Constellation collection, this 19-year-old Dalmore Constellation 1992 version was distilled on December 17, 1992 in barrel 18. One of 21 bottles making up the series, it spent 10 years in a first fill Kentucky Bourbon Barrel before finishing for 9 years in a European Oak port pipe. A beautifully presented whisky with flavour to back up the pomp.
Only 737 bottles of Dalmore Constellation 1992 were released globally in 2012, each bottle is bottled at a natural concentration of 53,8% ABV, with a volume of 700ml. Crafted in a hand-blown crystal, created by artisans of Baccarat, famous French crystal house. Each bottle is engraved with the year of distillation, age, number of barrels and decorated with a silver royal deer, a symbol of the Dalmore Distillery from 1867.
- Rich taste
The 1992 Dalmore Constellation has a rich mahogany gold with shimmering ruby amber highlights. Right at the tip of the nose is the powerful aroma of ripe plum, citrus and macaroons mixed with the spicy warmth of ginger, mango and pulp. Next is the faint aroma of sweet pear, thick orange marmalade, bitter chocolate and mashed almonds. Delicate scent lingers in the palate creating lingering aftertaste like the spirit it contains.
