Frapin Rabelais Cognac
Bringing winemaking to the pinnacle of perfection, the Frapin house style embodies what is most characteristic of Cognac. The entire castle, including vineyards with an area of 240 hectares, is located in the Grande Champagne area – which is considered the most wonderful area in Cognac. Still self-owned from its earliest days, the Frapin family has a history of viticulture and winemaking dating back to the 1270s. Frapin is the perfect combination of profound wine knowledge with established methods. It has been around for a long time, passed down from father to son for generations, and Cognacs are meticulously handcrafted at every stage: from harvesting, soaking to casks right at the castle.
