Glenfarclas 1953 matured in the sole oak barrel at the Glenfarclas cellar in Ballindalloch. For six decades, it was bottled at natural concentration. Only the air, wood and time that helped to create this wonderful taste.
Glenfarclas 1953 has richly flavored, firstly is especial fruit flavor, macadamia nut, and orange liqueur. The grilled apples and dried raisins were made the whiskey more subtle. While Shiitake, autumn leaves, and sandalwood were increased the wonderful flavor. Baked cakes and dried fruit offers a balanced sweetness. You will feel the orange flavor on your palate, and the whiskeys made of arabica coffee, black chocolate, umami. You will be lead to the sweetness of mango, guava, grapefruit, and mandarin. Behind it is the sweetness of honey and barley sugar combined between nutmeg and cinnamon to create a mixed and full taste. The next are herbs, cedarwood, mint leaves and raspberries cooked. Finally they are ripe fruit, hazelnuts pudding, fresh mint and orange juice on your palate.
Glenfarclas 1953 is an extremely rare whiskey of that age. It presented in a beautiful set which made of crystal, and being designed speciality for this edition. Only 60 bottles were produced in the worldwide. Many collectors want to be the owner of them for their collection.
