The 1964 vintage is the first release in Glenlivet’s ongoing release of 50-year-old malts, named The Winchester Collection after master distiller Alan Winchester.
Spicy oak, milk chocolate buttons, savoury, spicy notes of cardamom and coriander seed, accompanied by a rich fruitiness and a clean, refreshing streak running through. Fragrant combo of tropical and stone fruit, with basil leaf, chocolate and cherry-menthol notes, along with dried fruit – candied orange in particular.
Buyers get a miniature (5cl) and luxurious wooden packaging., limited to 100 bottles.
