Gordon & MacPhail The Recollection Showcase
For more than 125 years, Gordon & MacPhail has been developed by a noble mission of: creating superior quality single malt Scotch whiskey. Over four generations, the company has combined wine from more than 100 distilleries in Scotland with its own wine barrels. It was this unique depth and breadth that allowed Gordon & MacPhail creates iconic whiskeys that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
Stephen Rankin, Director of Prestige at Gordon & MacPhail, said: “The whiskies released in our Recollection Series are some of the rarest single malts we have in our liquid library – including our oldest ever Port Ellen. This creates a unique opportunity for whisky enthusiasts to experience liquid from distilleries that haven’t operated for decades and are rarely seen in the market today; a true window into Scotland’s complex and colourful whisky history.”
Gordon & MacPhail The Recollection Showcase represents the company’s unique depth and breadth of Scotch single malt whiskey. Placed in a beautiful craft box made of elm and oak by a talented team at Method Studio, Linlithgow, The collection has five unique carved bottles.
Each contains a single malt with an extremely rare 700ml capacity from a distillery that has been in history for decades. They have never and will never repeat in the history of the Scottish whiskey industry. Whiskey bottled at barrel concentration will revive the spirit and character of where they were created.
