LEDAIG DÚSGADH 1972 (42 YEAR OLD)
The Ledaig (42-year-old) is story has started when the Ledaig Distillery located on Mull Island, Scotland was reopened in 1972. Mr. Burn Stewart (of Deanston) had repurchased Ledaig and being renamed is Tobermory. This is the only oldest Scotland island.
The Ledaig “Dúsgadh” is means “to wake up” in the Scottish Gaelic language, that is wake up after a long maturation in the oak wood barrel.
The Ledaig (42-year-old) was distilled in 1972, and being bottled in 2014 at 46.7% concentration .It was produced just only 500 bottles in the worldwide.
The Ledaig (42-year-old) has the beautiful amber color. It has the classical scent of sherry wood, peat, ash, being mixed between the sweet dried fruit aromatic and plum, raisins, grilled apples, cedar, cinnamon and a little bit of peppermint oil. The soft taste of cigar smoke,be combined with the sweetness of waffles, dark chocolate, honey, ginger, and toffee. The long taste is balanced between black pepper and cigar smoke.
Ledaig Dúsgadh 42 years old is the oldest and rarest whisky which had ever produced at the Ledaig factory.
