0010. LOUIS XIII 3 LITER
LOUIS XIII LE JEROBOAM 3L
LOUIS XIII LE JEROBOAM was a piece of art of Louis XIII. LE JEROBOAM has volume of 3 liters, which was four times the capacity of the standard LOUIS XIII. Each decanter is individually fashioned by a team of nine exceptionally skilled crystal craftsmen working in unison at Cristallerie de Sèvres.
Each decanter will be accompanied by a pipet, this is a tool traditionally which was used to drawn out the spirit in the decanter with just the lightest touch. It is exclusively by the Cellar Master and passed on from generation to generation. Four special crystal glasses designed by Christophe Pillet also accompany the decanter.
When served, the eye will be struck by the splendor of richly complex tones of gold and glints of flaming red. Then, the nose will savor in turn each wave of exquisite sensation – first monumental intensity, then delicate floral notes, then a majestic closing chord of rich spice. In the mouth, more than twelve hundred aged eaux-de-vie in the blend display extraordinary finesse and opulence.
A dense celebration of jasmine mingles with passion fruit, ginger and nutmeg; flavors of everlasting flowers and iris play with fig and prune, which in turn evolve to sandalwood and honey; the sheer complexity of a truly remarkable composition will persist more than an hour on the palate.
LE JEROBOAM is released in a very limited quantity each year, reserved for a few privileged aficionados.
