Macallan 1841 Replica is one of the Macallan’s original whiskeys, it was brewed in 1841 by Mr. Alexander Reid – founder of the Macallan Distillery, and it was bottled by Mr. James Priest and James Davidson – The Macallan’s owner from 1847 to 1851.
Macallan 1841 had 41.7% concentration and the volume 70cl. This whiskey is contained in a glass bottle which is crafted by the hand-blown technique of that period. Glass is always green or brown color as the iron particles in the sand. which are used in the manufacture. The surface of the glass bottle rustles and there are many small bubbles inside.
This is one of Macallan’s oldest surviving whiskeys. It have a unique flavor of summer fruit and peat smoke.
There are still very few collectors who own it.
