The Macallan 1949 was distilled on January 14th , 1949, in the oak wood barrel, at the Speyside region,in Spanish. It was bottled to celebrate the new millennium, in 1999. The Macallan 1949 was bottled at of 43% concentration, it has the 70cl capacity and just only produced 900 bottles.
This rare single malt whiskey is displayed in the crystal bottle which is handcrafted by Caithness Glass. The bottle was sealed by a waxed button which has “M” letter is printed in the Macallan’s logo. Each bottle is also decorated bronze rather details in the neck and cork. The displayed box which made from the oak wood, it is decorated by the piece of bronze which is minted from the 9th Macallan Distillery. To open this box, you have to use a special key which is designed for each particular box
This is one of the most loved whiskeys, that many collectors are looking for. It represents for the luxury of Macallan, not only by its quality but also by its rarity.
