MORTLACH 1939 (75 YEARS)
On 2 September 2015, at the Royal Opera House in London, Gordon & MacPhail was produced the Mortlach 75 years old. This is the oldest malt whisky in the Speyside region, distilled in 1939 and bottled in 2015
Each Mortlach 75 years old is numbered peculiarity. It in contained in the glass bottle which has drop of tear-shape which made from refined handicraft. It have 75 cutting. Each cutting is sympolized for one year the mature of whisky. Mortlach 75 years bottle is putted on the white base, with two glass cups that were designed for only this masterpiece. All of them were contained in an elegant leather bag of Aniline and being attached “Seven Nights with Mortlach” book that is written by the famous whisky writer – Mr Charles Maclean and the best-selling author of the world – Mr Alexander McCall Smith. The book retelled about stories in the Scotland, the whisky and the peoples who are behind this special malt whisky, and many images of the Scottish artists.
Mortlach 75-years-old whisky has the flavor of dried apricots and pomegranates lead to the taste of vanilla cream and spices. The lighting finally with a long lasting smoke flavor.
The Mortlach 75-year-old was bottled at rate 44.4% concentration. Only 100 bottles were produced in the worldwide.
