Remy Martin Coupe Shanghai 1904
In the Cellarmaster’s archives from 1904, Rémy Martin found hand-written notes describing the “Coupe Shanghai 1904”, the first Rémy Martin Cognac blend created specifically for the taste of Chinese aficionados. With its intensity, potency and spicy undertones, it was a dramatic marriage of occident and orient.
A century later, Rémy Martin recreated this audacious Cognac to pay homage to China. The “Coupe Shanghai” is a blend of two of the finest and most intense Grande Champagne eau-de-vie that crown the exceptional reserves held at Rémy Martin, bottled at the same strength as the original: 52% ABV, with a volume of 750ml. This special edition was limited to only 8 bottles, a number in harmony with Chinese symbolism.
The Remy Martin Coupe Shanghai is not only rare and special because of its age, origin and limited quantity, but it is also a bottled version from 1904, showing all the experience of centuries-old tradition that continues standing up through time, from using the best vineyards of the Cognac region to creating a unique limited edition. A version that any collector would crave for his own.
It is known that the price for this super product is not cheap, its current estimate has reached the number of £120,000, not including 20% VAT, a really impressive price. It can be said that difficult to own, but it is proud to be presented in Vietnam now.
