This version take into the special single malt whiskey that had 55 years matured in Spanish oak barrels and it was bottled at 40.1% concentration, It was produced in 2007, having only 420 bottles be sold in the worldwide.
The Macallan in Lalique 55 years old was also be named “Natural Color” and the design of this bottle was inspired by The classic perfume bottle “Tiara Paquerettes” of Lalique.This whisky bottle is was recognized about Rene Lalique’s design talent and influence in 1910
The bottle is crafted with amber color crystals that show up to the natural color of The Macallan. The cork of bottle is a testament for the crystal’s professional skills of Lalique. Moreover, the amber color is one of the most difficult colors which made by crystal producer.
This rare whiskey has dark pink color, it has various flavor such as : oak wood fragrance, deep aroma of dried fruit, orange and a little bit of peat smoke. The spicy taste of dried grapes and orange peels. The final taste is very soft and deep of orange and peat smoke.
