After the Ocean liner debut in 2015, The Macallan revealed the second set: The Aeroplane.
The second Set of The Macallan launches to commemorate the birth of the first commercial airplane using, bringing a wonderful, flashy and amazing experience to adventurers.
The Airplane version was distilled in 1937, first bottled in 1972 and rebottled in 2016. Only 50 bottles were released.
This 35-year-old whisky is golden, the scent of Madagascar vanilla, cinnamon, dried figs and dark chocolate. The same flavor of rich honey, dry ginger, cinnamon and apple pie. The long finished and extremely satisfying with the aftertaste of crème brûlée, honey and brown sugar with a hint of smoky wood.
This 35-year whisky is presented in a Lalique handmade crystal decanter, engraved with the first passenger plane, celebrating the wonderful days of the Transatlantic adventure.
