“We are delighted to be working alongside The Worshipful Company of Distillers to support such a worthy charity. It’s an honour to be involved in an event which is raising such valuable funds to support disadvantaged young people in Scotland.” – Stephen Bremner, Managing Director, Tomatin.
Bottled exclusively for the Worshipful Company of Distillers, this remarkable single malt delivers sweetness in the form of honeycomb and desiccated coconut is balanced with earthier notes of cut grass and wet stone. Elegant and complex, it has a soft sweetness which is offset by minerality and pleasant bitterness in the form of tea and bitter orange. The finish is long and waxy with honeyed cereal and orange.

Tomatin distillery has been producing and blending malt Scotch Whisky since 1897. At its peak in the 1970s, Tomatin was the largest distillery in the world operating 23 stills and producing 12 million litres of alcohol every year. In 2000, Tomatin’s strategy began its transformation from producing bulk whisky for use in major blended whisky brands to focusing on producing single malt Scotch Whisky for itself and in turn promoting and growing the Tomatin brand in its own right. In 2002 the number of stills was reduced to 12 and it is now, in 2021, comfortably producing 2m litres of alcohol annually.
